Hainan CEEDI Co., Ltd is a branch set up in Hainan province by CEEDI in 1985. Its former name is CEEDI Hainan branch, which was renamed in Aug. 2003. Established in 1953,China Electronics Engineering Design Institute (CEEDI) is a sizeable and comprehensive engineering construction enterprise (group cor-poration) registered with the State Administration of Industry and Commerce, Chinese member of FIDIC, member of the member state of the executive council of ICCCS, and also one of the 10 key companies of survey and design directly under the State Council. It possesses the state certified Class A qualifications for engineering consultation, engineering design, project contraction, construction supervision and cost consultation, and Grade I qualification for contracting (construction) of electronics engineering projects,and it is one of the first that were granted the certificate of approval for enterprises with foreign trade rights in 1992.CEEDI was certified for ISO9001 Quality Assurance System in 1997,The current staff of CEEDI is 1188 in total, of which the technical force accounts for 1010,containing 4 state-level design masters, 34 senior architects and engineers of research fellow level, 283 senior architects and engineers, 2 state chartered architects, 56 state Grade I registered architects , 70 state Grade I structural engineers, 3 state registered city planning engineers,12 cost engineers, and 53 supervision engineers. Enjoying the grade-A certificate of qualification issued by the Ministry of Construction, Hainan CEEDI Co., Ltd is also proud of the grade-A design permit for building projects issued by the Department of Construction of Hainan Province.The following is business scope authorized by the Provincial Administration of Industry and Commerce: design, planning and general contracting of industrial and civil building projects; indoor design; special decoration of electronics engineering (Grade A); and technological consultancy. Since its debut, Hainan CEEDI Co., Ltd has accomplished nearly 400 civil and industrial projects, with the construction area exceeding 4 million square meters. Besides in Hainan Province, it has also presented excellent services for abundance project owners in such provinces as Guangdong, Anhui and Guizhou and Shanghai. At present, Hainan CEEDI Co., Ltd possesses of 50 engineering and technical personnel in various specialties. The structure of senior, medium-level and primary technical leaders is reasonable. Backed up by CEEDI and its senior professionals, Hainan CEEDI Co., Ltd can undertake design assignments of various scales and complexities. The design is involved in such realms as high-rise office building, star-level hotels, commercial buildings, residential buildings, planning of residential quarters, golf assembly halls, as well as civil and industrial structures in relation with pharmaceutics, electronics and light industry.
